LAPE-FINEST Spring Workshop

Bank Performance and Financial Stability in the Era of Responsible Banking Venue: LAPE, Université de Limoges

FINEST workshops are small meetings with an in-depth discussion (from top scholars) of a limited number of high-quality papers with the aim of fostering discussion among academics, policymakers, and practitioners about the evolving challengers facing banks. For the 2024 Spring Workshop, we expect to accept for presentation about six full papers and six short presentations in the PhD/Young Scholar sessions.

PhD/Young Scholar sessions with short presentations (5 minutes) are aimed for Junior Researchers who are in their last year of PhD program or Scholars who have recently (last 3 years) acquired their PhD degree.

Preferred Topics: Bank Risk and Regulatory Implications, Financial Stability, Systemic Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital and Liquidity, Failure Resolution and Total Loss Absorbing Capacities, Capital Structure, Ownership Structure and Governance in Banking, Bank Market Structure, Competition, Lending Behavior, Fintech, Climate Change and ESG.

Submissions should be to : only completed papers in pdf format as a single file. Please indicate if you are submitting for the regular sessions or the PhD/Young scholar sessions or both.

For the selected speakers, registration fees (165 euros) cover lodging (2 nights), meals and coffee breaks (welcome dinner, morning break, lunch, afternoon break, closing dinner).
